Then I watched a teacher hold my screaming son while she told me to just go, and I was done. I called for his autism assessment days later.There was no roadmap for navigating autism in BC. No clear answer on funding, the DTC, or where to even start. So I built one.These guides are what I wish someone had handed me on day one. Real, BC-specific information on autism assessments, funding, and support, written by a mom who lived it, not a textbook.

Paradise Paddock
We are turning one acre of overgrown farmland into a sensory sanctuary for neurodivergent kids and their families. Miniature horses, a walking trail, a place where nobody has to explain why their kid needs to move, or stim, or stay quiet. We are building it ourselves, day by day, and documenting every step. Our miniature horses are now using the new paddock extensions every day, and the picnic area is seeded. We are getting closer to having you here.
We open officially in spring 2027 in Delta. It will be by invitation only for families in our community, to keep it intentionally small and calm. Paradise Paddock is part of Tiny Tales Pony Rescue Society, the registered charity behind All4Nolan.
